I grew up in Oregon and Washington, lived in the Eastern
United States and abroad and returned to Oregon because I love Portland's
friendly people, its vibrant downtown, interesting neighborhoods, and proximity
to outdoor activities.
To work with you to discover the best property to meet
your needs. Let me help you find the right buyer for your home or
the right home for you. New to the area? Let me alleviate some
of the stress associated with relocation. Moving was part of my life
during my government career; use my experience to help you learn about your
new neighborhood. Quality service is
Windermere's goal,
and I guarantee that you will have a quality experience.
My
husband, Rolf, and I take walks with our Wirehaired Vizslas, CB and Flanders,
indulge them and her kitty companion Dolcetta, and when time permits
enjoy hiking and fly fishing. I am active in the American Association
of University Women and am a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels.
We explore the Pacific Northwest when time permits.
Here I am tree climbing in an "Old Growth" forest in Oregon. According
to Pacific Tree
Climbing Institute in Eugene, the Douglas Fir was over 600 years old
and about 250 feet in height. The view was terrific at about 200 feet.

Meet Shelli Gowdy (My Assistant)...
I grew up in Oregon and was graduated from Oregon State
University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. My career in real estate
began five years ago. After a ‘vacation’ in Hawaii which lasted 25
years, my family and I returned to Oregon and settled in the Portland area.
While living on the island of Oahu, I worked as a supervisor
in an insurance firm that required attention to detail and the ability to
work with people. My husband and I bought and sold several homes during
our time in Hawaii, renovating some of them along the way. Thus began
my interest in the real estate process.
I enjoy working with Susan and her clients, buyers and
sellers alike, and I am thrilled to be back in the Portland area.
Portland is a wonderful city, and its close proximity to the beach and the
alpine playground of Mt. Hood is an added bonus. My son will tell
you that he transitioned from surfboard to snowboard in no time at all.
The transition to the climate change, however, took a bit longer.
I look forward to being of service to Susan’s clients and
upholding Susan’s and Windermere’s goal of a positive experience throughout
each and every transaction.
